How NextCrew Works: The Big Picture

Modified on Wed, 30 Sep at 8:12 PM

NextCrew connects three groups of people: your office team, your Crew and your clients. Once you see how one job flows through, every screen makes sense.

Summary

A client asks for staff. You create an order with one or more jobs. Crew Members get offers for those jobs, and you confirm who works. On the day, Crew clock in and out in the app, and their hours go on a timesheet. The client approves it, and it feeds payroll and the client's invoice. Each step has its own area in NextCrew, and its own guides.

One job, start to finish

  1. The client asks for staff. They order in their portal, or you create the order for them.
  2. You fill the jobs. Crew show interest or get invited, and you confirm who works.
  3. Crew work the job. They clock in and out in the app. You watch it live in Daily Pulse.
  4. The timesheet is approved. By the client, by you, or both.
  5. You pay and bill. Approved hours go to payroll and onto the client's invoice. See Run Payroll: Start Here and Invoice Clients and Get Paid: Start Here.

That's the whole cycle. The two guides below explain the words you'll see at every step.
