A client calls with a request for tomorrow. How fast you fill it, and with the right people, decides whether they call you again.
Summary
In NextCrew, a client's request becomes an order, with one job for each position and time. When you save a job, NextCrew tells the Crew Members who fit it, based on their position, distance and history with the client. They show interest or accept in the app, you confirm, and NextCrew sends the details, reminders and any changes. What goes wrong: a job with the wrong address or rates, because everything after it depends on them.
How to do it
- Create the order: pick the client, and the contact, location and rates fill in. See Create an Order and Its Jobs.
- Add a job for each position and time.
- Choose who hears about each job with its Privacy setting. See Choose Who Hears About a Job.
- Confirm the Crew Members who show interest, or let Auto-Confirm do it.
- Watch the order fill on Workspace › Orders.
That is a job filled. Read on for how the whole flow fits together, and the guide for each step.

Your team creates the order and confirms who works. NextCrew does the notifying, reminding and updating.
After the job, hours go on the timesheet, then to payroll and the client's invoice. See How NextCrew Works: The Big Picture.
Why filling jobs in NextCrew is faster
For a high-volume agency, jobs are the business. Margin matters, but so does speed: a job that sits open costs you the work, and sending the wrong person can cost you the client.
| Without NextCrew | In NextCrew |
|---|---|
| Retype the client, contact and rates for every request | Pick the client. The contact, location and rate configuration fill in. |
| Text or call down a list to find someone free | The Crew Members who fit are notified automatically. |
| Track who said yes in a spreadsheet or a group chat | Every offer shows where it stands: requested, interested, confirmed or declined. |
| Call each person when a time changes | Confirmed Crew are alerted automatically, and acknowledge it. |
| Send reminders by hand the night before | Reminders go out 24 hours before and again before clock-in. |
| Crew arrive at the wrong entrance | The address is verified, the pin sits at the right gate, and clock-in only works on site. |
| Work out overtime by hand | Overtime is calculated for you. |
See it through your Crew's eyes
Most staffing managers never see a job from the Crew Member's side. It's worth a few minutes: you'll answer their questions faster, and see why clear job details and a verified address matter.
▶ Watch how Crew find, accept and follow a job in the app (part of the Crew app tour)
- New jobs that fit them show up in the app, with the description, location and times.
- They tap to show interest, or accept straight away if the job is Auto-Confirm.
