One person on a team of eight negotiated a higher rate, or is staying two extra days. Change it for them alone, and leave everyone else's booking as it is.
Summary
Each Crew Member on a job has their own offer, with its own dates and rates. Open the job's Offers tab, open the person, and click DETAILS. Edit General Information for their dates, or Rate Details for their pay and bill rate. Only that person changes. To book someone straight onto an open job, use Make Offer on their profile. What goes wrong: editing the job's rates when only one person should change, which changes the rate for the whole team.
How to do it
- Open the job and go to its Offers tab.
- Click the Crew Member, then DETAILS.
- To change their dates, click EDIT on General Information and set the Start Date and End Date.
- To change their rate, click EDIT on Rate Details and set the Pay Rate and Bill Rate.
- Click Update.

That's one person changed. Read on to book someone fast, or send the client the staff list.

What you can change on one offer
| Section | What's there |
|---|---|
| General Information | Start and end date and time, the sub-status, and whether this person is the job's Supervisor. |
| Rate Details | Pay Rate and Bill Rate, each with its unit, and whether the hours are Billable. NextCrew shows the overtime, double-time and holiday rates that follow from them. |
| Other tabs | Additional Costs, Burden Costs and Pay Package for this person on this job. |
⚠️ Watch out
The red Cancel button at the top of the offer cancels the booking. To close a panel without saving, use Cancel inside the panel.
A change on one offer applies to this job only. For a rate that should follow the person to every job, see Set Positions and Rates for a Crew Member.
Book someone straight onto a job
A Crew Member calls to say they're free next week. Book them without waiting for them to find a job.
- Open their profile in HR › Crew Members.
- Click the three dots and choose Make Offer.
- Quick Offer lists open jobs they could work, with the distance, dates, hours and whether the client prefers them.
- Click Request to ask them, or Confirm to book them.
You can also open Workspace › Quick Offer and pick the Crew Member there.
Send the client the staff list
Open the job or order and click Quick Access (the lightning icon on the right). Under Reports, choose Staff List (PDF) or Staff List (Excel). On an order, Staff List (Photo) adds each person's photo, so the client knows who to expect.
