Troubleshooting Guide: Crew Members Cannot View Jobs

Modified on Thu, 11 Sep at 8:59 PM

If crew members are unable to see jobs in the system, review the following possible causes and corrective steps:

  1. Postal Code Verification

    • Confirm that the job’s work address postal code and the crew member’s postal code are correct.

    • The system uses a default 50-mile radius filter (unless adjusted).

    • If either code is incorrect, jobs outside the valid range will not appear.

  2. Scheduling Conflicts

    • Ensure the crew member is not already scheduled to work at the same time as the job.

  3. Calendar Availability

    • Check that the crew member has not blocked their availability in the calendar.

    • Blocked times will prevent jobs from appearing.

  4. Configuration and Permissions

    • Verify that permission settings are correct. Some configurations can restrict job visibility, such as:

      • Crew members without a hire date cannot view jobs.

      • Permissions may be restricted by location or group using deny access rules.

  5. Job Privacy Settings

    • Make sure the job is not marked as private, which would block general crew member visibility.

  6. DNR (Do Not Return) Restrictions

    • Check whether the crew member is on the DNR list for the client.

    • If so, the job will not appear for them.

  7. Matching Criteria

    • Review the job matching criteria setting.

    • If jobs are set to match by position only, crew members without the required position in their profile will not see the job.

  8. Location or Group Permissions

    • Check if deny permission has been set by location or group.

    • If enabled, it may prevent the crew member from viewing certain jobs.
