Overview
The Offer workflow in NextCrew helps staffing agencies efficiently manage job assignments and communication between managers and crew members. Each offer moves through different statuses that reflect where the job stands — from request to confirmation or cancellation. Understanding these stages ensures that offers are managed effectively and both crew and staff are kept informed.
Navigation
To access and manage offers in NextCrew:
From the main dashboard, go to Jobs > Offers.
You can view Offer Listings in different tabs or customize your view with filters (by status, job, or crew member).
Each offer will display its current status as it progresses through the workflow.
Functionality Overview – Offer Stages
Requested
Triggered when a staffing manager sends a job request to a crew member.
The crew member receives a notification about the offer.
Manager can filter by “Requested” status to see all pending crew responses.
Interested
Status changes when the crew member shows interest in the job.
The associated staffing manager is notified of the crew interest.
Confirmed
Occurs when the staffing manager confirms a crew member for the job.
The crew member is notified that they are officially confirmed.
Cancelled
If a staffing manager cancels an offer (e.g., due to missing credentials or another reason), the status changes to “Cancelled.”
The crew member is notified about the cancellation.
Declined
If a crew member cancels their confirmed job assignment, the status updates to “Decline.”
The staffing manager for that job receives an immediate notification.
Automations at Each Stage
Requested / Confirmed → Crew member receives a notification.
Interested / Decline → Staffing manager receives a notification.
These automations keep both parties engaged and up-to-date without manual follow-up.
Additional Notes
You can create custom views to track offers by status (e.g., all Interested offers, all Confirmed crew, etc.).
Filtering options help streamline job assignments, especially when managing large talent pools.
FAQ
Q: Can an offer go back from “Confirmed” to “Requested”?
A: No, once confirmed, the only way to change status is if the crew cancels (Decline) or manager cancels (Cancelled).
Q: Can I see the reason for a cancellation?
A: Yes, managers can log or specify reasons such as “missing credentials” for audit tracking.
Tip
Use Saved Views to monitor "Interested" status daily — this helps managers quickly confirm available crew before jobs are filled.
