NextCrew makes onboarding simple by allowing you to complete employment-related documents digitally from your mobile device or computer.

In this guide, you'll learn how to:
- Access your onboarding package
- Complete onboarding forms
- Sign documents electronically
- Upload required files
- Use Smart Forms and pre-filled information
- Submit your completed onboarding package
❖ Getting Started
Once your employer sends your onboarding package, you'll receive a notification by email and, in many cases, through the NextCrew mobile app.
To begin:
- Open the onboarding email.
- Click the onboarding link.
- Review the instructions provided.
- Complete the required forms.
You can complete onboarding using:
- NextCrew Mobile App
- Web Browser on your computer
❖ Complete Forms Digitally
NextCrew allows you to complete onboarding entirely online.
There is no need to:
❌ Print documents
❌ Download forms
❌ Scan paperwork
❌ Send documents back and forth through email
Everything can be completed securely in one place.
⚡ Pre-Filled Forms
To save time, NextCrew automatically carries your basic information throughout the onboarding package whenever possible.
This helps reduce repetitive data entry and makes onboarding faster and more accurate.
❖ Smart Forms
NextCrew Smart Forms allow you to view and complete documents on the same page.
This makes it easier to review information and understand exactly what you're signing.
✍️ Digital Signatures
If a document requires a signature, you can sign electronically directly from your mobile device or computer.
No printing or scanning required.
❖Upload Required Documents
Some forms may require supporting documents, such as:
- Identification documents
- Certifications
- Professional licenses
- Other employer-required files
Simply upload them directly during the onboarding process.
❖ Save Your Progress
Need more time?
No problem.
Your progress is automatically saved, allowing you to return later and continue where you left off.
⚠️ Before You Submit
Before submitting each form, carefully review your information.
Once a form has been submitted and you move to the next step, it can no longer be edited.
✅ Completing Your Onboarding
After all required forms have been completed:
- Your onboarding package is submitted automatically
- You'll receive copies of your completed documents
- Your employer can begin reviewing your information
❖ Reminder Notifications
If your onboarding package remains incomplete, you may receive reminder notifications to help keep the process moving forward.
❖ Download the NextCrew Mobile App
If you haven't already downloaded the NextCrew mobile app, we highly recommend doing so.
Once you're hired, you'll use the mobile app to manage:
- Jobs
- Schedules
- Assignments
- Notifications
- Communication
The web application is generally used for onboarding and employment-related documents, while the mobile app helps you manage your day-to-day work experience after you're hired.
