1. Do you send messages to inactive or disabled crew members?
No, by default, we do not send messages to crew members whose profiles are inactive or disabled.
2. Is there a limit to how many messages I can send?
Yes. Each contract includes a set monthly allowance for messages per admin. If you exceed this limit, overage fees may apply.
3. How can I confirm that messages have been sent?
You can check the Email Tracking Report to see a record of all sent messages.
4. What happens if someone replies to a text message?
Replies from crew members are automatically captured and displayed in their profile within the Messages module.
5. Can I send messages to prospects or clients?
Yes, as long as they have a user account. You can create an account for them from their contact record.
6. How do I view all messages sent to a specific crew member?
Open the crew member’s profile and select the HR tab to view all correspondence.
7. If I send a group message, can recipients see who else received it?
No. For privacy, group messages are sent individually and recipients cannot see other recipients. If you want everyone to see the recipients, use the “Share Messages” feature.
8. Can I view scheduled messages?
Yes. Go to the Messages module and click on “Sent Messages” to view your scheduled and sent communications.
9. Which phone number is used to send outgoing text messages?
Text messages are sent from the phone number configured in the App Marketplace settings.
10. Which email address is used for automated messages?
The Company Profile settings allow you to set a default sending email. However, each automated message can be configured to use a specific user or email address if desired.
11. How do I activate text messaging for a crew member?
A crew member can activate text messaging via the mobile app, or you can enable it directly from their profile.
12. Do I need to enter their cellphone carrier to enable SMS?
No, you do not need to provide the carrier information when activating SMS.
