Overview
Rolling up invoices allows you to consolidate billing from multiple child clients (such as branches or departments) into one unified invoice for the parent client. This eliminates the need to manage separate invoices and simplifies your client billing process.

Ensures accurate parent-child invoicing relationships for streamlined reporting.
Use Case: Consolidating Branch Invoices
Scenario:
You manage a parent client A, with two child clients A1 and A2. Instead of sending three separate invoices, you want a single consolidated invoice for Client A.
Steps:
Open the Child Client details (for A1 and A2).
In the Configuration tab, select Invoice Configuration.
Enable the Rollup Invoices option.
Confirm that each Child Client has the Parent Client field set to Client A.
Save your changes.
Once complete, invoices generated from A1 and A2 will automatically roll up into one consolidated invoice for Client A.
FAQ
Q: Does enabling rollup remove individual child client invoices?
A: No, it merges their data into the parent client’s invoice but still keeps the original billing records accessible for reporting.
Q: Can I roll up invoices for multiple parent clients?
A: Each child client can be linked to only one parent client for rollup purposes.
Pro Tip
Always double-check that your Parent Client relationship is correctly set before generating invoices. An incorrect configuration can lead to invoices not rolling up as intended.
