Welcome to your NextCrew Portal's home page


Here, you have the ability to configure your own personal dashboards, allowing for customization that may differ from your colleagues' choices. Within your company, every administrator can tailor their own dashboards to align with their unique roles and requirements.


Meaning a Director may want to see everything whereas an account manager may only want to see their own programs, events, jobs, crew and clients.


Dashboards give you the ability to see data live. As things change in the system your dashboards will automatically update right in front of you.


You are presented with two options: a Statistic, also known as a Stat Card, and a Chart/List.


Both types of dashboards can be easily rearranged according to your preference, and the Chart/List dashboards can be resized to occupy a larger space.

Adding a New dashboard to your home page



To add a new Dashboard simply click the + Add button in the top right corner of the page


A selection box will pop up 



From here you will choose Statistic or Chart/List



Statistic :Aka Stat Card


If you chose statistic the next pop up will ask you to choose the source of the information you would like to display and ask you to title this stat card to your liking.



Once you have selected your source more options become available like Office Location.


After you have completed your selections simply click the Blue ADD button to add them to your dashboard.



Now repeat for as many stat cards as you would like to add to your home page.




Chart/List 


If you chose chart/list the next pop up will ask you to choose the source of the information you would like to display and ask you to title this stat card to your liking. 



Similarly to the stat card once you've selected your source more options become available


Such as: 

Date range 

Graph Type




After you have completed your selections simply click the Blue ADD button to add them to your dashboard.



Now repeat for as many chart/lists as you would like to add to your home page.




Editing, Removing, Exporting a Statistic or Chart/List



If you would like to edit or change a statistic you would click the three vertical dots aka the Quick Menu

Adding Multiple Dashboards to your Home page


You might be wondering, "Why would I require multiple dashboards?"


For customers who segment their NextCrew Portal across various office locations, divisions, or Lines of Business, we aimed to provide the option to create distinct saved dashboards. 


This way, instead of requiring everyone to add three or more of the same Stat or Chart/List component to one Dashboard you can create a Dashboard per Office Location, division or line of business.

Example:

Lets say you partitioned your system by PHYSICAL office location. 


So you have an office location in Washington state and they handle all jobs, events, programs, clients and crew within Washington state.

You also have an office location in Florida and they handle all jobs, events, programs, clients and crew within Florida.


So you could set up three Bookmarks/Templates

1. Washington state only data

2. Florida only data

3. Combined data ( to give you overall visibility )
