There are several ways to add new crew members to your NextCrew system. Choose the method that best fits your workflow.

1. Manually Adding a Crew Member

Add a crew member directly from the Crew Members page

Steps:

  1. Navigate to HRCrew Members.

  2. Click on the Add button.

  3. Fill in the required details for the new crew member.

  4. Click Save to add the crew member to the system.

Tip: If you do have NextCrew AI Assistant turned on you can drag and drop a resume and the system will automatically pre-fill the information

2. Inviting a Crew Member to Register

You can invite a crew member to register themselves.

Why use this method : Some companies do not want to clutter up the database with people who are not interested in working long term positions. In that case, they have a process of "invite-only" to register new applicants.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to HRCrew Members.

  2. Click on the Ellipses (...)

  3. Select the option to Invite Crew Member.

  4. Enter the crew member’s email address and send the invitation.

Tip : You can invite more than one person at a time. Just add emails with comma separated values.

3. Registration Page (Self-Registration - Most common)

Crew members can register themselves using your company’s registration page.

  • Share your company’s registration landing page link with the crew member.

  • The crew member can fill out their details and submit the registration form.

For more information, see the topic: How Crew Members Can Register.

4. Data Import

Add multiple crew members at once by importing data.

  • Use the data import feature to upload a list of new crew members.

  • Prepare your data file according to the import template.

Why use this method : This method is generally used while bringing the data from another system.

For step-by-step instructions, see the topic: How to Import Crew Members.

Tip: Choose the method that best suits your needs—manual entry for individual crew members, invitations or self-registration for onboarding, or data import for bulk additions.
